Approximate value of Revelation II AE?

Hi all,

I may have an opportunity to purchase a used Revelation II AE. It would include the DGT Classic chess pieces and the standard storage bag from Phoenix Chess Systems. It does not have the emulations. I’m seeking your opinions on what might be a fair price to pay for it. It appears to be in excellent condition.

No offence, but I don't see the point of this question because this product, even if it is a more modern version, is on sale right now and its price is published on the website:

So there you have a reference price, which is not the case with older and discontinued chess computers.

Thanks for your reply, and for moving this to the right place (sorry, missed that when I posted it).

While I think the current selling price is helpful as an initial point of reference, I think it would be useful if anyone had insight into what a used Rev II AE might sell for (without emulations, now out of warranty). Perhaps because they are so expensive when bought new there’s no real gauge to go by, especially if people tend to buy them and keep them? Anyway, if anyone here has any insight on it, please share your thoughts. I suppose it may likely be “whatever the buyer is willing to pay” - I just want to be fair if I offer a price to the owner, if the opportunity arises.
